The Villages of Brunswick Forest
More businesses in The Villages will begin opening in the coming months.
Lannin Braddock, property manager for The Villages, said new construction in the middle of the shopping center is close to completion and has already leased all its available space.
The building is set up for retail spaces on the first floor with offices on the second.
The new businesses will open in phases through the spring, she said. “The shell of the building is complete. Now we are updating the interior offices and the optometrist office. Design for the restaurant beings in the next couple of weeks,” Braddock said. “We usually add a building a year. We have for the past five and a half years.”
Braddock said Swell Vision Center optometrist office is expected to open in early spring.
Also moving into the building once it is completed is the newest location for Slainte Irish Pub, which has restaurants in Southport, Wilmington and Monkey Junction. In addition to the restaurant and bar, a Flights Craft Beer and Wine Bar will be included in the new building.
Legacy Homes by Bill Clark will fill the final space in the 10,000 square foot building with a design center.
